John Daly at the Albertsons Boise Open!

A friend and I went to see John Daly play the Albertsons’ Boise Open at Hillcrest Country Club, located in the “bench” area. We only had a limited amount of time and missed him by two groups! We watched play at the 17th and 18th holes and got to see local golf hero and former Boise State player Troy Merritt, who has the lead at -11. We also got to see Kevin Burton, Matthew Goggin, and Kirk Triplett…great experience! Beyond that, the Boise Open is a great event that showcases some of what Boise Idaho has to offer. Very family friendly and a great way to see the PGA’s future and former stars. Two thirds of all the PGA players come up through the developmental Nationwide Tour.
